The focus area for this project is situated in The Gardens, Johannesburg. This quiet residential neighbourhood is situated between Melrose Arch and Houghton. A series of intuitive interventions are proposed to ensure successful growth in residential, commercial and environmental departments.  Large public areas are created, together with the introduction of green roofs and water harvesting systems.

Jeppe-Park is a well positioned and highly utilised public space on Johannesburg’s CBD urban fringe.  It has been several years since any infrastructural improvements has been implemented in the park and some small interventions have the potential to provide high impact for park users. The project entails the upgrade of existing facilities together with the introduction of some necessary elements. The project is will be completed in two phases: Phase 1, which includes the introduction of public ablutions, public lighting, bins and bollards, while Phase 2 will include leveling, new turf and trees, soccer goals and other landscape elements.
